Who Is Your Circle Of Friends?

When I think of Proverbs 18:21” life and death are in the power of the tongue”. Have you ever thought of the people who have said negative things about your life?

You will never be anything, you’re stupid, dumb, ugly, or even worthless. Negative words hurt and are stumbling blocks and if you begin to think about them, they become part of your life. Stop believing everything the enemy says to you. Check your circle, what are they pouring into you, are they building you up or are they tearing you down?

Let’s be wise and listen to wise people.

Because negative words defile which is to (make unclean, or impure, to corrupt the purity or perfection of). And don’t speak negative words you hear someone say, that’s foolish, you are tainting which means (corrupt, to change from good to bad, in morals, manners or actions) your heart.

Proverbs 12:25 says,” Positive words make the heart glad”, so let’s not weigh our hearts down with heaviness, anxiety, or worry.

Christians are to be glad, happy, and cheerful beings. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Ask the Lord to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out” (GNBDC). When the Lord is in it, it’s positive. Remember He’s the only one that has forgiven your sins completely.

So let’s make our enemies into friends by pleasing the Lord.

A child of God, (John15:5)

A branch of the true vine,(John 15:15 

A friend of Jesus,  (Rom. 3:24)

Justified and redeemed (Rom.8:17)

An heir, (1 Cor. 1:2)

A sanctified saint, (1 Cor. 6:19)

A temple of the Holy Spirit, (1 Cor. 12:27)

A member of Christ’s body, (2 Cor. 5:20)

An ambassador for Christ, (2 Cor. 5:21)

The righteousness of God, (Eph. 1:4)

Chosen,(Eph. 1:5)

Adopted, (Eph. 1:7))

Redeemed and forgiven, (Eph. 1:3)

Sealed with the Holy Spirit, (Eph.2:4-5)

Made alive in Christ, (Eph. 2:6)

Raised and seated with Him in the heavenly places, (Eph.2:10)

God’s workmanship, (Phil.3:20)

A citizen of heaven, (Gal. 5:1)

No longer a slave, but free, (John 16:33)

Overcomer's, (Jer. 2:11)

Winners, (Psalm108:13)

Victorious.

So, if the Word of God says it, believe it! Know your circle of friends and make sure they are directing you toward Jesus Christ our Lord.
